Welcome to the first phase of Graduate Engineer Trainee Campus Selection Process – 2026 of Tata Chemicals Limited.

A brief presentation covering the company profile, career opportunities, and the selection process is provided below. Candidates are requested to go through the presentation carefully. Once the presentation is completed, the Online Application Form will automatically appear. To participate in the selection process, candidates must fill in the application form after viewing the presentation in full.

Eligibility Criteria :

• Marks obtained should be 65% and above throughout academics (10th, 12th & Diploma / Graduation). In case college follows CGPA, then the grade equivalent of 65% and above will only be considered. For Diploma Course, those who have taken admission basis ITI/NCVT are not allowed to participate. Admission taken basis SSC are allowed to participate.
• Students with backlogs can appear provided they clear their respective backlogs before end of their academic session.
• This process is open to only specific institutes that the company is covering in the campus drive.
• Only those students who clear the online test consisting of 1 hour technical test + 30 minutes aptitude test can appear for Panel Interview face to face.
• Post Panel Interview, TCL shall declare a list of successful candidates.
• Selected students will then need to complete the documentation process and clear the pre joining medical test from our panel doctors.
• Placement of selected applicant will be solely at the discretion of the company and the candidate must be willing to be posted in any of the locations.

Relaxation in Eligibility Criteria :

• Candidates belonging to the focus segments in our diversity road map – ie Gender, Disadvantaged Communities (SC/ST) and Disadvantaged Regions (North East) will be granted a relaxation of 5% at the first stage where they are just short of the qualifying cut-off. Eg. If at the application shortlisting stage, the candidate is above the cut-off but is below the cut-off at the online test stage, then the candidate will be given a 5% relaxation at the online test stage. However, if the candidate has already availed the benefit of 5% relaxation at the application shortlisting stage, then there will be no relaxation at the online test stage.
